Should dolphins or whales be taken from their ocean homes to be trained for entertainment? Why or why not?? Provide a persuasive argument to share your opinion.
yes,they should because people can see how friendly they can be so then maybe the hunters can regreat hunting them.they can also be safe from hunters when there trained because they get but in a special lake when trained.they can also be safe from oil spills and pollution in the ocean. gg
I do not think that they should be taken from their homes for entertainment because to me that just sounds like animal abuse. It dosen't seem right to take helpless creatures from their homes and use them as human entertainment. I mean seriously, put in that way does that sound like something good to do? -Dimples:)
By: M. E. R. I think that dolphins and whales should be trained for entertainment. They seem to enjoy showing us (us: HUMANS) what they can do. They can flip, jump, spin, wave, and other cool tricks. The only thing I care about is where they are trained. They can be trained at the Georgia Aquarium. That is a nice place to be trained. If two people find a dolphin, take it to a big swimming pool, don't feed it as well as it is supposed to, and train it there. That is NOT a good place AT ALL. It can be good for them or bad for them so really it depends. I love seeing them preform, and they look like they love prefoming. I just hope that they get taken care of.
I believe that people should not take dolphins out of the'ir habitat for human entertainment. Even though they are nice, gentle, and obidient creatures they still don't need to be a resource for public human entertainment. They belong in the ocean. They are al ready astunning performance there. Humans can find different ways to entertain themselves. Dolphins are animals and people are hmans so why can'thumans entertain humans. MP

Even though dolphins provide funny shows i don't think they should be taken from their home to suffer in a glass case. dolphins desver to be free because they are the 2nd smartest mammals on this earth so if we are free then why can't they be. Just think of it l,ike this: would you like to be taken from your home and put in a glass case and if you don't do stuff correctly you get smacked with a wip or not be fed for a week. Also, it would not be right to force them out of the place they feel home. That would be like exactly like what Adolf Hitler did to the Jews or what FDR did to the Japanese Americans. What the did was wrong and it wouldn't be in the world's best interest to start the Dolphin Holocaust or Dolphin internment camps. - the RANKER

I love to see dolphin shows, but I feel bad for them. They shouldn't be taken from their home to be held captive. They should be free and able to roam anywhere. Not having to deal with learning tricks, people riding on their back, and not having family around. They deserve to have their own life. If they want to do it then let them. They don't have much room in a glass tank. They were born to live in the open waters of the ocean.Where they have no worries. They are not made to be a show. So ftee the dolphins. Do not take them for shows. Leave them where they are. SAVE THE DOLPHINS N.M
I believe that dolphind should not be taken from their natural habitat for entertainment. In fact, the only reason they should be taken away is if they are hurt, in which they would be returned unless very badly hurt and can't swim. I don't believe that it is fair for dolphins to have to entertain us unless they want to. We are destroying their life as they know it and teaching them different ways, and that I believe is wrong.
I think that dolpheds shuold not be sent to make for intortainment becouse it is cruel. making them leave thier home and family. how would you feel if someone made you leave your home and family. not happy thats what. thats how they feel , so stop
I think both as only the dolphins or the whales are well treated because all living species should not be used for making money. If the dolphins or whales are excited about making a show than I think it is alright.
CB: I think that people should keep dolphins in their habitats. It will take them longer to adapt to their new area. Also they will have to adapt to the food that people give them since they are being removed and losing their food source.
